  • Covered Bridge near Woodsbury

    This covered bridge was mentioned in an article in the Lexington Newspaper of 1829. The lost bridge crossed the west fork of Drake Creek in Simpson County Kentucky. The newspaper article relates that the bridge was haunted. The covered bridge was washed away by a flood in 1910. Below is a close-up of the area in an 1862 map.
