Covered Bridge across Bear Creek
This lost covered bridge crossed Bear Creek in Jefferson County Kentucky. The lost covered bridge was built in 1904 by The Alfred Struck Company. The bridge stood above stream from The Louisville and Nashville Railroad Bridge and upstream from the Broadway Bridge. The bridge is a subject of a lawsuit and an appeal case in 1914 by a neighbor living downstream from the bridge. Below is a close up on an 1862 map.
