Walcott Covered Bridge
The Walcott Covered Bridge, sometimes called "The White Covered Bridge" is reportedly to have been built around 1824. The covered bridge, formerly located on Route 1159, was bypassed in 1954 by a concrete bridge. The WalcottCovered Bridge was rebuilt in the 1990's and moved to the east where a park was created around it. Walcott Covered Bridge can be seen off the AA Highway.
The Walcott Covered Bridge sports a combination truss design composed of a kingpost and queenpost combination truss intragrated into a single truss design.
