Covered Bridge at Colville (Still in Existence)

Colville Covered Bridge in Bourbon County Kentucky
The Colville Pike Covered Bridge spans Hinkston Creek about four miles south of Millersburg. The Colville Covered Bridge was built about 1877 by Jacob Bower. The bridge is 120 feet long and a single span. The truss design of the covered bridge is of the multi-kingpost.
The bridge was damaged by a vehicle and closed to traffic in 1972. Louis Stockton Bower supervised the reconstruction and it was reopened in 1973.
